Years of travel and research revealed three colors of ocean and the float colors that would work optimally in those conditions. Fluorocarbon leader was a necessity in lieu of the fact that pompano are easily scared of glossy mono lines. Certain color combinations in diverse sizes attract pomps in these water conditions. The big floats bounce with good wave actions and act as lures. They also float baits higher in the water column to escape crabs and bait pickers. The bottom pill pretty much stays put and gives the rig a dual purpose. I started using these combos 14 years ago and opened up sales in 2010. Thirty one tackle shops and 2 municipal piers feature our rigs.
